Will

Supported by people who love the Alps, like we do, we are an independent environmental organization that is realizing a sustainable transport policy and committing itself to effective climate protection.

Do you want to leave an enduring legacy that continues to have an impact? Do you care for the Alps and would you like to preserve them as a living environment? Here’s an overview of how you can do this.

Will

Gift your assets, simply and securely.

Make a will and provide for the Alpine Initiative
A collaboration with our partner organization, DeinAdieu.ch, enables you, with no obligation and at no cost, to draw up a will tailored to your personal situation that includes a gift to the Alpine Initiative association. You will be guided through the following steps:

  • Listing all your heirs.
  • Deciding who will get what share of your estate.
  • Writing out the template by hand.

You should keep your handwritten will in an easily accessible and safe place (with a trusted person, solicitor or local authority).

The new inheritance law has been in force since January 1, 2023. You are welcome to benefit from an initial consultation with an inheritance expert from our partner organisation, “Dein Adieu”. This short, confidential, initial consultation encompasses a review of your situation or your will, and a recommendation for your inheritance planning.

Funeral donation

«Donation instead of flowers»

Note in the death notice

The deceased person, or you as the bereaved, can decide to support the Alpine Initiative instead of donating flowers. In order to be able to fulfil your wish, we ask you to proceed as follows:

  • Decide how you want your donation to be used.
  • Inform us of the name of the deceased person and the address of the bereaved family, by e-mail or phone.
  • Include our account for donations and its IBAN number in the death notice, as shown in the following example:

«Instead of flowers, we ask you to commemorate the deceased with a donation to the Alpine Initiative. Account for donations CH77 8080 8002 2905 2529 0, Reference: John Doe»

Donation in memoriam

Make a donation in the name of the deceased person.

You can do this in two ways:

a) Transfer your condolence donation by payment slip or bank transfer. Add the first name and surname of the deceased person to the purpose of payment.

b) Make a direct online donation. You can add the name of the deceased person in the comments field.

If you would like more information, please contact us.

We will gladly assist you in your inheritance planning. Contact us for a no-obligation, one-to-one conversation.
